Hello there!

I'm McCartney Diener, and I am a worship leader and tech enthusiast who desires to grow God’s kingdom through gospel-centered and tech-savvy worship.

Getting to know me...

I am a born-and-raised Floridian who grew up in a little town called Grant-Valkaria. I was raised in church and put my trust in Jesus around the age of six, later reaffirming my faith in my early teen years. My passion for music began in 2001 when I started taking piano lessons, and it grew even more when I taught myself guitar in high school. After getting involved with the youth worship team at Covenant Church in Palm Bay, I felt God’s calling to serve in the church and lead worship. I had the opportunity to intern under the worship staff at Covenant, where I gained valuable hands-on experience leading a worship ministry.

I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in Worship Ministry. During my time in school, I stayed active in worship ministries, leading and volunteering at PBA and Truth Point Church in West Palm Beach. After college, I served as the Worship Leader at Treasure Coast Presbyterian Church in Stuart, FL (2017-18), the Worship Director at Northside Presbyterian Church in Melbourne (2018-22), and most recently, the Director of Worship and Communication at New City Church in Palm Bay (2022-24).

These are a few of my favorite things...

Some of my favorite things include brewing (and drinking) coffee, reading good books, watching movies, and discovering new music. I am also a lifelong fan of musicals. Some of my favorites include The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hamilton. I also enjoy all things Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars, and hope to visit all the Disney parks one day (four down, eight to go!).
